• consider the potential impact on biodiversity represented by planning applications.
• manage its land and property using environmentally friendly practices that will promote biodiversity.
• support local businesses & council operations in the adoption of minimal impact practices.
• support residents and local organisations activities to enhance and promote biodiversity.

Linton FROG are a volunteer group
whose aim is to protect and enhance our local river, the Granta, a rare chalk stream.
Linton FROG run regular litter picks in Linton and carry out conservation tasks
to improve the habitat and biodiversity of the Granta.

Linton Roots
​
Linton Roots are a volunteer group whose aim is to protect our natural habitat and to promote
environmental projects which help conserve energy, reduce wasta and encourage biodiversity.
Linton Roots organise community events including tree and bulb planting, repair cafes and aim to encourage wildlife in Linton.
